Food is amazing!
I'm an Indian living and working in Romania for over 4 years now, and I can confidently vouch for this place. Outside India, not many restaurants can replicate the same taste and flavor, but I really felt like back home here.
Before coming here, I've read reviews that food takes too long to arrive at your table, which for us was completely normal as Indian foods take time to prepare with all the steps involved in cooking, it's not the same as fast food or a soup. It's worth the wait. Back in India, you also wait the same for the food to arrive in a good restaurant.
All the dishes we ordered were served fresh and cooking. Most of the dishes were brought with even a candle underneath so the food is till being cooked and hot when placed on your table (see the photos).
The staff were extremely polite, smiling and friendly. They can speak English and Indian languages.
The music were also subtle and traditional of Nepalese / Indian origin.
Overall, we had an amazing time, including the vibe, the table by the big windows, and the amazing food.
One of the best Indian food I have had outside India, even if I compare to Spain, USA and other places I have been. Better than other Indian restaurants in Bucharest by miles in terms of flavor, portion size.
Prices were reasonable when you compare with the quantity you get.
This is Indian food, so it's better when you know which dish to combine with what to give the bear flavor.
We had Chicken Tandoori as starters, Butter chicken with Basmati rice / Biriyani (rice dishes) and Naan bread as mains. And for drink I'll recommend Lassi (yogurt shake) or plain old Pepsi or Cola, finishing off with Gulab Jamun / Kulfi (desserts).
I'd love go back again next month.

We had multiple times dishes here. The place is located beneath Din Fu, at the sidewalk level (Din Fu is located just above).
The food is great, the waitresses are speaking English (I don't think they know Romanian), and the atmosphere is top notch.
I highly recommend the Nepalese dishes (last pages in the menu). They are pretty big, so no need for additional side-dishes.
I pass very often outside the restaurant, and sometimes it is recommended to book a table.

Been there five times, tried lots of different dishes (Madras, Korma, Tikka Masala, Everest Chicken, Aloo Gobi, Malai Kofta, Tandoori Chicken, Steamed/Fried Momos, Onion Bhaji, Samosas and some others I forgot) and they all tasted amazing. Definitely one of the best places for Indian food in Bucharest, and I've been to all of them. Also, as far as I know, the only place where you can eat Nepali food (a must try) in the city.
The staff is extremely friendly and helpful and really make you feel welcome. The place itself is cozy and sprinkled with some beautiful decorations.
All in all, a real gem. Usually I'm too lazy to write reviews, but I was so impressed by this place that I had to.

If you are looking for some tasty Indian/Nepalese dishes, Everest Restaurant is the place to go.
We started out with some papadoms (⚠️ they are really spicy), and some vegetable samosas which were tasty.
For the main dish we had biryani rice with vegetables and butter chicken which all came in metal recipients that had a candle underneath to keep the food hot. The food was delicious.
We also tried vegetable mo:mo -Nepalese dumplings which were very tasty.
The naan bread with garlic and the simple naan bread were also very good- great for dipping into the different sauces.
The staff is also friendly, but we found the service to be a bit slow- possibly because the food is freshly made and it takes time.
Other than that, we will definitely come back to taste some other appetizing dishes.

Food wasn't great and it is expensive for what they offer. The tomatoe soup that we got for the child was really bad. Momos just ok, chilly paneer was bad, the paneer was very dry, most probably overcooked.
