Our experience at the restaurant was good until the very end. The food was good, and most of the staff were polite. Unfortunately, one incident ruined the overall impression.

After paying the bill, we chose not to leave a tip. I thanked our waiter, Ionuț, before leaving the table. As we were leaving, he cursed us in a low voice because no tip was left. We did not respond and continued toward the exit.

At the door, he followed us and stopped us, asking if we knew the tip was not included in the bill. We confirmed that we did. He then became angry, and he said “I see you,” which felt threatening, and added that next time he would include the tip in the bill with a double amount.

We immediately asked to speak with the manager to report this behavior. Tips are optional, and no customer should be confronted or intimidated over this. It is disappointing to experience such unprofessional behavior at an otherwise respectable restaurant.

We came to the restaurant with high expectations. It’s known as a steakhouse, so we booked a table in advance because it always looked packed. Surprisingly, when we arrived, the place was almost empty, but we sat down and ordered anyway.

There were four of us, each choosing a different cut and doneness level. My order was medium. Another friend also ordered medium on a different cut. The other two chose different levels. It took nearly thirty minutes for the dishes to arrive.

When the food finally came out, both my steak and my friend’s looked noticeably more cooked than what we had requested. We mentioned it to the waitress, who was kind and professional, and she called the manager to take a look. It took about another ten to fifteen minutes until someone came over. The conclusion was unusual. They offered to bring me a medium-rare steak along with a hot stone so I could cook it myself. After waiting almost fifty minutes without food, we agreed.

The replacement arrived roughly twenty-five minutes later, and this time it was extremely rare. At that point, it felt like no one was taking responsibility, and the conversation with the manager didn’t feel service-oriented. My friend accepted his replacement dish, which wasn’t exactly medium but close enough, and continued eating.

I do want to highlight that the servers themselves were very kind, attentive, and genuinely trying to help. They even surprised us with two complimentary desserts for a birthday we were celebrating. The gesture was appreciated, even though the desserts weren’t really to our taste or at the level we expected.

Based on our experience, we don’t see ourselves returning. We came mainly for the meat, and receiving two incorrect doneness levels in a restaurant that specializes in steaks was disappointing. The steak itself, when it finally arrived, was fine but nothing special.

Mancarea a fost buna si gatita cum trebuie, ca deobicei. In schimb, nici ospatarita si probabil nici cei de la bucatarie nu au habar ce inseamna glutenul si in ce produse se poate regasi. Am primit afirmatia ca vaca manca cereale si implicit produsele lactate ar contine gluten. De principiu, nu e rau sa aiba o atitudine precauta vis-a-vis de cei care au restrictii alimentare, dar sa spui ca parmezanul sau cartofii contin gluten, nu este in regula.

Amazing food in a light and high-quality atmosphere with high-quality service, we will definitely be back.

Very good beef dishes. I recommend the Vacamuu beef specialty to share for 2 ( the one mentioned at the top of the menu)
