Altogether a disappointing experience, especially for a restaurant of this category. We had booked a table in advance and requested seating in a quiet area as one person in our party was celebrating the 68th birthday. We arrived 2 minutes early and the hostess wasn't aware of our reservation, had to ask for my name twice before she could locate the reservation. We were placed at a table in the middle of the restaurant, among other guests. The waiters were patient as we needed more time to decide. The hors d'oeuvres arrived quickly and were delicious. The 'house bread' was VERY salty and fatty - it was oozing fat like butter pastry! Then the main dishes required a longer wait and were very disappointing: EXTREMELY salty, the duck rather dry (overdone), the octopus rather underdone although intensely fried on the outside. The octopus was supposed to be served with black garlic mayonnaise and smoked pepper hollandaise - the latter was entirely missing. The pesto accompanying the roasted potatoes with green beans was also oversalted. All dishes were very fatty or accompanied by fatty sauces. Neither after the hors d'oeuvres, nor after the mains has the waiter inquired about our satisfaction with the food. We requested the bill and a €13 tip was added - the waiter remarked that this is less than 10% and inquired whether I wanted to add 10% to the bill. I denied - only then were we asked, if everything had been alright. After the payment all waiters disappeared, no one accompanied us to the door, even the hostess was absent so we had to show ourselves out, no one was willing to see us off.
To our understanding a gourmet restaurant is not supposed to generate taste by oversalting the food or adding copious amounts of fat. The taste must come from high quality ingredients and the cooking technique.
Although the interior design is nice BOSCO is definitely NOT a recommendation for a gourmet restaurant in our opinion and we regret having chosen it for this special occasion.
Ne-a placut totul, de la atmosfera, personalul atent, design echilibrat, meniul de cocktailuri, iar mancarea delicioasa. Sigur vom reveni!
Am avut o experienta plăcută. Servirea ireproșabilă, curat, locație frumoasa, în "padure", lux chiar. Coastele august delicioase, băutură, totul. Poate ceva cam scump, dar știu pe ce am dat banii. Am dat, dar am si primit. Recomand categoric.
