Casa Cranta is a nice four-star hotel in a central part of Brasov. It is within 15 minute walk to the Old Town (where the Black Church is, for example) and within the same walking distance to Livada Postei where the bus to Poiana Brasov departs from. We decided to only tourist by foot or Uber (Uber is quite affordable in Brasov) to not have the worry of the car, which stayed in the parking at Casa Cranta for our entire stay.

We spent two nights at Casa Cranta, one night in the 'Deluxe Suite' and the other night in the 'Standard Suite'. Whilst both are gorgeous and offer a balcony with views over Brasov and Tampa mountains, our favourite was the 'Deluxe Suite' as it had a large living room with a beautiful six seat conference like table and many windows which gave it a touch of elegance and sophistication. Both suites have large baths with jacuzzi, the 'Deluxe Suite' jacuzzi has extra features.

We arrived late at the accommodation. We were hungry. The restaurant menu is not vegan friendly yet we spoke with the guy at the reception and he arranged for us to receive some grilled vegetables and fries, our dinner was very tasty and we appreciated that they facilitated our dietary requirements. We wished to get room service for our dinner which was facilitated by staff.

Lastly, staff are very polite, friendly and accommodating. The guy at the reception recommended us two vegan places for brunch and cakes.

We will definitely be back and we recommend Casa Cranta.
