timpul de asteptare pana sa vina nota si dupa sa vina cu POS-ul sa platim a fost extreeem de lung

Even though they are much more expensive than what it should cost for what they offer, the food is good because they make sure to use quality ingredients.
The service is “exaggerated pampering”
Romanians don’t believe in tap water so if you’re thirsty just skip the water and get a beer, they’re about the same price.

I was placed at an empty table: No salt no pepper, no towel sheet. It has been like that all the duration of my meal. All other tables were correctly "dressed", with plates. A look at the decoration. Can do better.
I had a look to the menu: Pizzas, salads, meat, fish, etc. Quite a long list of meals. Usually, this means a bad food, as the cook cannot nicely prepare all meals. Here, it is not the case as all meals are translated into 3 languages. This explains that.
To test the cook, I took 2 classic Italian meals: one SQUID TENTACLES and ARBORIO RICE WITH PORCINI MUSHROOMS AND PARMESAN ( a risotto). These two meals are tricky to prepared and you can detect weather the cook is good or not. The tentacles are difficult to cook, because one extremity is thin, when the top extremity is thick and harder. For a cook, all the challenge is to provide the same cooking for both side of the tentacles. The risotto, needs to be tender, creamy, well bound with the initial butter and the final parmesan.
So, let's see. I ordered. I know it takes 20 minutes to cook rice, so I am not in a hurry to get my meals. I order a beer, a draft Peroni, that is not breaking walls, but it does the job. It is chilled and good. It was hot inside the restaurant. I should have gone to the nice terrace surrounded by a dense bamboo hedge.
The waitress is coming (sad as since I saw her when I entered) with the 2 meals.
The rice: Good variety of rice, nice color, creamy, with the mushrooms. Once in the mouth, it is too salty. And not enough cook in the center of the rice grains. The cook is not bad, but he put salt at the beginning of the cooking, so the rice could not fully cook. Even if you let the rice sleep a few minutes, to make it tender. This is not possible because instead of providing the inner salt of the parmesan, he initially put salt and forbid the rice to be perfect! That is a mistake, that could be soon corrected.
Now the squid tentacles: I especially came to THIS restaurant because there was a great picture of tree tentacles in a plate linked with this restaurant. I ordered it. I wanted something great, and delicious. The meal arrived: a kind of pate of tentacles in a hot sauce, surrounded by good green leaves shoots tossed with balsamic vinegar..
Let's taste the squid: Quite hard, not uniformly cooked, in small pieces unlikely as on the picture internet was showing. I asked why it was different. Answer: We change the way we cook it , we use a frying pan. It could have been a good idea to avoid the difference of cooking the two extremities of the tentacles, and to cook them the same way. It was a nice idea, unfortunately, some pieces were harder (I mean hard). I was disappointed as I was expecting tender tentacles and a presentation as per the picture I had seen on internet.
The waitress came to remove the dishes, without asking me for any dessert. If I were the boss, she would have ask me for a dessert. This is basic business!! She seemed not committed. She doesn't know that a restaurant is not a philanthropically company? But a commercial one!!! Hey Boss, you are loosing money!
I paid 89 Lei and a 6 lei tip for 3 tentacles, some rice and a beer.
Conclusion: To expensive, waitress not committed, and for this level of price, the cook should improve : Ciao! I will not come back.

This restaurant is amazing, it has a very wide menu, and the most awesome thing is that the restaurant chef is making the food in a little yellow car that using as the kitchen.
Definitely worth a visit.

I can't believe this place is still open. Very high prices for terrible food. Cheap and stale ingredients (the buratta was acidic and fermented, the dressing on the salad had a metalic taste), unimaginative recipes in an endless menu that has everything and nothing worth eating. For design, they opted for the Italian kitch style which however lacks terribly in authenticity.
