Pe Soseaua Arcului, unde odinioara erau felinare cu gaz infipte in stalpi de fonta turnati cu zorzoane, se afla odinioara, restautrant “La Salcia”, care a avut in timp, oaspeti de seama si bucatari maestri in cele mai bune mancaruri romanesti. Acum, restaurantul s-a transformat intr-un popas al iubitorilor de peste, s-a imbracat cu haine noi, creand un ambient nou, placut si relaxant si se cheama “Blue Acqua”, unde, pastrand traditia cu bucate alese, de pe meleagurile galatene, oameni cu dragoste pentru preparatele din peste au adus bucatari de soi si experienta acumulata la restaurantul “Blue Acqua” din Galati, pentru a desfata simturile celor cu o pofta de saramura de crap salbatic sau somn, prinsi de pescari iscusiti din Tulcea, Galati sau Constanta si au transformat vechia taverna intr-un restaurant cu mancaruri desavasite. Aici, la Bue Acqua, te asteapta bucatari vrednici de toate aprecierile care se intrec sa faca bucate alese din peste si te fac sa poftesti la ciorbe din perisoare de peste, sau o ciorba de peste alba cum numai in delta gasesti. Si daca vrei sa treci la felul urmator, personalul atent si prea-indemanatic te poate servi cu multe alte feluri la alegere, mai sophisticate, punandu-ti spre servire platouri cu fructe de mare, creveti in crusta de cocos, frigarui de fructe de mare, acompaniate de un orez cu ghimbir sau alte garnituri preparate dupa retete de pe meleaguri mediteraneene… Si, daca vrei sa incerci o sepie, o caracatita sau midii proaspete le gasesti tot la noi, pregatite cu maiestrie pe grill sau in diverse sosuri. Iar ca desfatarea simturilor sa fie pe masura pretentiilor, preparatele nostre se cununa cu soiuri alese de vin alb si inmiresmat de Recas si Macin, baute cu masura din carafe de sticla, ca sa bucure si prin culoarea lor de gutuie abia parguita. Pentru cei care au pofte de carne, restaurantul nostru ii asteapta cu o saramura de pui cum numai noi stim sa facem, la care merge o mamaliguta calda si un ardei iute, sau un muschi de vita, pregatit cu multa arta, caci bucatarii nostri nu se lasa mai prejos nici la aceasta provocare. Si ca papilele gustative sa fie rasfatate cu un desert, va recomandam cu drag un Puffy Cherry, un Tiramisu sau o negresa delicioasa, peste care curge orice fel de inghetata. Ne-am propus sa va aratam cat de bine se poate manca peste si in Iasi, la fel ca in Delta sau orice alt oras la Dunare, si sa intram in primele 5 restaurante din Iasi cu platourile cele mai cautate din peste gatit traditional sau fructe meditaraneene, de aceea va asteptam intre 9.00 si 23.30 sa vedeti in ce masura un astfel de scop poate fi atins in prima luna.

The food was ok, a little bit cold for my taste. What was terrible was the service of the waitress. She didn't pay attention to our requests (she was more busy talking casual with 2 boys who looked like they knew her before). I requested a seafood skewers plate with hot sauce and toast bread, and asked her not to have shrimps on it, because I don't eat shrimp. The plate came with shripms and the seafood was cooked on hot surface not on a skewer. I told her I requested without shrimp and she said that the dish is with shrimp and if I want I can take them off, on the side, and don't eat them. She brought the toast bread earlier than the dish and got cold by the time that seafood was served. I asked for grilled veggies together with my seafood and she simply forgot about them. She brought them after 15 minutes, too late for a decent meal. We had a bottle of still water and she brought a type of water she wanted, despite that she was having 2 types in the menu, and at a table next to us she served the other one. She should have asked us which one we'd like to have. Plus, she poured the water only for the lady, leaving me with my eyes in the sun.
When it came to serve the dessert, she simply forgot who is having what. She came and she asked who is having what 🤔. We were a couple only, celebrating Valentines Day, not o big group to have an excuse. Clearly not a service you'd expect to have at a restaurant in which you had great experiences in the past. Disappointed by the service.
If we will come back, maybe we'll have a better experience...

Good food - good service. Music was a little too loud for that kind of restaurant but otherwise an ok experience! :)

It was the only correct restaurant in terms of fish and seafood .... but after this difficult period .... lost attention on customers in particular and of course on the taste .... a quick treatment ...
hoping they'll recover ..... I'll be back as whell

Welcoming atmosphere, kind waiters, but the food ... great! If you want to eat fish or seafood, this is the place!

Would've expected for the clients to be more select, but there were lots of people who lacked politeness, but the staff is very client oriented
